One-off Payments#

GoCardless supports two ways to collect a one-off payment without requiring a recurring mandate:

Pay by Bank — An instant Open Banking payment where the customer authorises a single transfer from their bank app. Best for immediate, high-value, or first-time payments.
One-off Direct Debit — Creates a mandate that is immediately consumed by a single payment. Best when you want the familiar Direct Debit flow but only need to charge once.

Collect an instant bank-to-bank payment authorised directly through the customer's banking app.
